Square Deal Sausage was first created 16 years ago by Rob Bryant in the small town grocery store of St. John, ND. When asked how Rob figured out his recipe he said "It was just trial and error until finally I got the right mixture I liked." Rob and Glenda Bryant owned Square Deal Grocery for 21 years where they distributed the pork sausage. In 2009 Rob and Glenda sold the store. Rob then continued his butchering career at Leevers Supervalu of Rolla, ND where he continued selling Square Deal Sausage. Rob is now in Belcourt, ND where Rob and Glenda are partial owners of One Stop Market grocery store. This is currently the only location Square Deal Sausage can be found. To this day Rob is still the only one who knows the secret recipe to the seasoning.

If you think you have never had Square Deal Sausage, but have graduated from St. John Public School in the past 15 or so years, think again. Yes, Square Deal Sausage is a main ingredient in Patsy's Biscuits and Gravy we all love. Also Glenda's B&G for those of you who know. Square Deal Sausage does not only have to be bought in sausage form. Rob also sells the seasoning for your own sausage making. Tyler Bryant commented "Its the only seasoning I use for my venison sausage."

So the next time your looking for a great breakfast, not just breakfast any meal really. According to John DeMers Square Deal Sausage is "yum-o."Or, maybe your finding your self trying to figure out what seasoning to use next deer season. Turn to Square Deal Sausage and give it a try.
